I honestly don't enjoy movies as much as I used to. 20 years ago, I went to the movies frequently - there always seemed to be something out that was worthwhile, even the cheesy movies. Now, I seldom go. Ireneparalegal 01-05-2006, 08:55 PM I don't see it myself. I'm just tired of remakes and retreads. He used to be funny on Steve Harvey. Now he's corny. CindyRoxiesLair2006 01-06-2006, 09:03 AM Remakes or fresh-debuts, shows today aren't even CLOSE to being as enjoyable and genuinely humorous as they used to be, back when sitcoms WERE sitcoms and humor was natural. Nowadays, it's more or less MANUFACTURED AND RECYCLED, past the stale and corny stages...   Dr. Thong 01-06-2006, 03:02 PM Remakes or fresh-debuts, shows today aren't even CLOSE to being as enjoyable and genuinely humorous as they used to be, back when sitcoms WERE sitcoms and humor was natural. I'm not saying old sitcoms didn't have that, but not to the degree they do now. It's just people insulting each other. Sometimes funny, sometimes not. |
