I would say that's more bullying than teasing, especially for girls. That's definitely a step or two above teasing.

Like, for instance if someone were to say silly dilly to someone, that's just teasing and not being mean, but if someone were to say to someone else something along the lines of pointing and laughing and calling them fat or ugly or some other name really mean then I think that would be considered bullying. Especially if it happens on a continual daily basis.

Name calling is considered bullying, just like nowadays snapping a girls bra is considered sexual harassment(when I was in school it wasn't considered that)

Well I always thought the defintion of bullying was being hit or shoved or having your lunch money taken. Being teased on a daily shouldn;t bother anyone because it's just a matter of having a good comeback. Find something about them to laugh at and if it's not anything about them that's funny, pretend that it is.

I think it doesn't feel like bullying to you because you're a guy. Boys usually bully by being phyical, but calling some one ugly or fat is definite bullying for a girl.

Yes I guess it's different for girls. Guys call each other ugly and fat all the time and no one thinks twice about it

It hurts just like being shoved to the ground. Used to happen to me a lot, cuz I was ugly and my clothes weren't "cool" and all that crap. And it hurt like hell.

I think that would be considered bullying. In my opinion, teasing is just like a kidding around way of being mean.

Anyways I hear that stupid stuff all the time,a dn I just ignore it. BUT if it gets to the point when you can't defend yourself and tons of people are joining in, then yeah I would call it bullying. Other than that it's just stupid catty stuff.

It happened to me all the time in 6th and 7th grade :(

Anyway I'd probabably call it more bullying than teasing. Teasing usually doesn't hurt as much as something serious like "You're ugly!", "you're fat", and that kind of stuff.

Teasing has a more playful sound to it. But Bullying sounds more hurtful.

Words do hurt. That sticks and stones may break my bones saying...I never really believed that. I mean yes they can break your bones lol, but words can really hurt you too.
