Is it just me? I can't stand the character Rose (Sarah Thompson). She is a
self-centered, domineering egotist who believes in nothing or no one but herself. But she outdid herself in the latest episode, doing everything possible to ruin the Camdens' Christmas. What in the world was Simon (David Gallegher) thinking when he fell in love with this woman?? She is definitely not a Christian. She doesn't even know the difference between Jesus Christ and Santa Claus! How ignorant can a person be??
Sandy (Haylie Duff), on the other hand, came off smelling like a rose. She is
the most beautiful (on the inside as well as the outside) new character on the
show. Now that she has become a Christian, maybe she can convert her
friend Rose. Now that would REALLY be a MIRACLE!
P.S. I thought that Rev. Eric Camden (Stephen Collins) showed much wisdom
in how he explained the personage of St. Nicholas (and the spirit of Santa) to
the twins. In spite of everything, the Camdens still had a merry Christmas.
(And Kevin and Lucy adopting both dogs was a nice touch, too.)
