With forums being used alot to start threads abt so-called celebrity marriages and divorces, I thought I would start a thread of real celebrity marriages, the ones that do last, those couples that have survived the ups and downs of fame, money, addictions, etc. People like Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's marriage was no big shock to me, after what, five years??? Give me a break. I would be shocked if after twenty some years some couple got a divorce. These are some of my examples of good lasting marriages:

Dick York was married 40+ years to his wife, Joan (he called her "Joey"). They stayed together in good times and bad (sitcom stardom, money, nice house w/ pool, back injury, painkiller addiction, bankrupty) and she was at his side when he passed in 1992.

I didn't notice if you suggested a minimum number of years to be considered for this thread, 20 sounds good to me but it's your thread.

Whatever you think is a great celeb marriage that has been at least 15 years. I didn't specify but I think anything under 10 years is not a long time, at least by Hollywood standards. ;)
