Ours was an indian. We were known as the Big Reds.

In grade school it was a Panther, in middle school it was a horse, and in high school it was a bronco.

My high school (graduating class of 1983) mascot was (still is) a pirate. Because of our team mascot and the name of our team, THE RAIDERS, the street entrance leading to the school was legally changed to RAIDERS WAY. They really had to bolt those street signs because the first time, vandals made off with them. No doubt Los Angeles Raiders fans. At that time, they were the LA Raiders.

We don't have one, isn't that sad? :lol:

Prior to that, my old junior high were the "Flaming Arrows" :crazy: How threatening!

:rofl: When I was in middle school, my middle school mascot was a TEDDY BEAR til the end of my 7th grade year. When I came back in the fall to start 8th grade, they had changed it to a dragon. :crazy:

Something similar happened at the HS I attended later on...My freshman - junior year in high school, we were the Satans and the week before I started my senior year, they got rid of the mascot. :crazy: We were mascotless until that February and then a mascot was decided on (Firebirds). They didn't come up with a logo for the mascot until THREE WEEKS before my graduation. :cuckoo So, yeah, that was not a fun year.

HS - Ramblers (fierce-looking Rams, although it coulda been a goat, I dont know)
