I think they have every right to. Parents need to learn that the world does not revolve around them and their precious little angels. There is nothing wrong with a little discipline. These parents have such a huge sense of entitlement. The sad thing is, if something happened to a kid because they were running around screaming, the parent would be blaming the establishment. (Happened more than a few times at the supermarket I worked at.)
I don't hate kids. I work at an elementary school and I love it. However, some parents need to learn that THEY are the ones in charge, not the kids. They need to take responsibility for their kids' behavior. I worked with a student last year who never did his homework. Mama's excuse: "He doesn't like to do it and I don't like making him." This same mother then got upset at the teacher because he got C's and D's on his report card.
