I agree. Very catchy and memorable theme song. When I watched the show in prime time I'd always sing along with the theme.

ODAAT had one of the best theme songs ever.

does anyone else agree the theme song sounds like ABBA? I remember when I first bought ABBA Gold and I heard Waterloo, there's one part in the song where I was "this sounds like the One Day At A Time theme" :lol:

I already have the ODAAT song on a TV Themes CD that I've owned for years. Then after seeing the show on DVD, I was always singing along whenever a new episode came on - especially the "la da da"s at the end. :lol:

As for One Day at a Time, it was a good theme song. there were 70's sitcoms with better theme songs, but it wasn't something I'd rather kill than listen to.

I thought it was ok, but I liked some of the other 1970's tv show theme songs better. Did anyone think it was a little too loud though? It used to blast me out of my chair when it came on in the 70's. lol!

The song itself isn't bad, but the women who sing it have an annoying east coast accent. I like to poke fun at how they sing some of the words, the part where they sing "So while you're here, enjoy the view" I change to "So whack your head, enjoy the view". :lol:
