Here's what she said:
"Now I could've called you a pickleheaded evildoin' heathen, but I won't." (Grady speaks.) A.E.: "And I could've called you a frogeyed, fisheatin' fool, but I won't.'
FredFan55 04-10-2006, 08:04 AM Fred, pretending to be Spanish for one of the 3 women he took to dinner simultneously while operating the dating service:
"Buenos diaz, buenos noches, buenos knows where the wild goose goes"
And pretending to be French to one of the other women, who asked him "Frenchy, are you really from France?" "I am French born, French bred, and with ze French bread I make ze French toast"
And, my all time favorite, when Fred Sanford, Legal Eagle questions the traffic cop who'd ticketed Lamont: "Lookit all these n*****s in this courtroom. It's enough n*****s in here to make a Tarzan movie"

Fred's response was great, but I can't remember all of it, so feel free to fill in the blank:
"And I could have called you an ugly fat-bottomed gorilla, but I didn't. So now I will, you _________ gorilla-faced ape!"

It's "fat-bottomed."
T-Greg 04-21-2006, 04:29 PM In the episode when Fred was waiting for Lena Horne to visit "Little Lame Lamont" before she left town. There's a knock at the door, so Fred runs to answer it thinking it's Lena. It turns out to be Esther. Fred says "This ain't my Lena. This must be somebody's hyena!"
moeee 04-22-2006, 11:21 PM Fred: Thats funnier than a train wreck.......now that will get you some business!
JeffRuss1972 04-23-2006, 01:32 AM I STILL love this one from "Wine, Women, and Aunt Esther" (Season 3)
BUBBA: (Saddened by the death of a friend) I just can't believe he's gone.
FRED: Can we talk about something else, please?
GRADY: But Junior Cooper was our friend, Fred, and now he's passed on. The funeral was nice, though.
AUNT ESTHER: YES, it was a wonderful eulogy. I didn't believe a WORD of it, but it was nice. And they did a WONDERFUL article about it in the Mortician's Digest.
BUBBA: What do you know about the Mortician's Digest, Esther?
FRED: (Irritated) She POSED for the CENTERFOLD.
LOL
