I believe she appeared in only one episode of Gimme A Break. She played Valerie (Katie's pregnant friend) in the episode An Unmarried Couple.

I haven't heard that. I think something like that would have been mentioned on the E! True Hollywood Story.

I do know Kari Michaelsen was up for the part of Jo on The Facts of Life. I guess she was a good friend of Nancy McKeon.
