I like it a lot... but there's two things that annoy me BIG time.

The President's name is TEDDY ROOSEVELT Bridges. Please come up with something more creative.

Second... flashback to 2 1/2 years ago(around the time the Iraq war started) mentions WMD-gate. Please check your timeline.

As a history freak, I cannot stand that.

I agree, pretty good. Sutherland's character, wow. Evil!

As far as ratings go, I'm predicting huge numbers for this. For this week I predict in order: Commander in Chief, House, Amazing Race, Earl/Office.

Very tough hour, but I think all will do decent (except The Office). After this week, I still have my bets on House for the season.

I'm not sure how the ratings will go... I wouldn't be surprised to see the show in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. I'm thinking 2nd or 3rd. I'm just confused over whether Race will beat it or not. The Family Edition will probably turn a lot of people off.

Just the order I expected! More good news for Chief is that it built on its first half hour. Good sign.

Legal may have dipped, but I still expect it to be 2nd. Better than 3rd place like shows in that slot did last season. CBS has no chance at 10pm.

I agree there... whatever CBS is debuting there next week is DEAD.

I don't know. Close To Home is getting great reviews and its a Jerry Bruckheimer show and he's never had a flop at CBS. Plus its a crime show and even Criminal Minds which got awful reviews is doing better than expected opposite Lost. I think its possible for Close To Home and Boston Legal to run neck to neck with SVU winning the hour.

I just saw it, and think it has a lot of potential. Donald Sutherland is a great actor, and as the primary antagonist will be one of the strengths of the show.

Geena Davis worked well, too, and the interactions with Kyle Secor as her husband, and the rest of her family, should be very interesting.

One negative: Geena Davis' speechmaking. Maybe it's because of too many years of listening to Martin Sheen's character on West Wing, or maybe because WW's writers are better, but I thought the speech segment was the weakest of the show.

It was a good start though, and they should have plenty of time to improve the speeches. I'll watch again, and recommend Commander-In-Chief to anyone who likes dramas.

Saw episode 2, too. Loved it. I'll be watching this series for sure now. Ratings were on par from last week and higher in 18-49. It looks to be a hit!

I've only seen the second ep (kicking myself for missing the first). I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Can't wait to see how far they take it!

I think a full season order for this show will come very soon. They have just picked up Steven Bochco for an exec. producer!

Steven Bochco is joining ABC’s Commander in Chief as an executive producer as part of his new deal with Disney’s Touchstone Television.

According to sources, series creator Rod Lurie will focus on new projects for Touchstone while maintaining an executive producer title on Chief. Sources also said Lurie's producing partner Marc Frydman, also an executive producer, is expected to remain with the show in some capacity.

The Geena Davis drama about a female president of the United States has been one of the most successful new shows this fall, garnering a 4.8/12 in the demo in its second airing on Tuesday, a 12% jump from its premiere.

With more than 30 years in the TV industry, Bochco has collected 10 Emmy Awards—six for Hill Street Blues and three for L.A. Law. The NYPD Blue creator also co-created and executive produced Hooperman, Doogie Howser, M.D., Cop Rock, Murder One, Total Security, Brooklyn South, City of Angels and Philly, and served as executive producer on Civil Wars and The Byrds of Paradise.

Bochco’s latest series and first cable venture, the military drama, Over There, now airs on FX. Bochco was previously at Paramount Network Television since January 2000, after leaving 20th Century Fox Television.

That was sweet since Templeton cry  ... but then I actually felt a little sorry for him. Whatever-her-face is really betrayed him. Mac is brillant... bringing up the tape from 40 years ago to keep from Vince being outed.

I loved part 2 last week. Mac had to have impressed Templeton with her moves. She is awesome. And this week, she was awesome again talking to the hostage person. No wonder Geena Davis won the Golden Globe.

I love this show... but it's getting KILLED on Tuesdays at 9. What is going on?

It's dropping every single week and now it's going on ANOTHER hiatus for 3 weeks. This has to move soon or it's not going to see a 2nd season. :(

At 9 p.m., the second half of "Idol's" Bad Singers on Parade improved to 21.3/31. Far back in second was a "CSI: Miami" rerun on CBS, 8.3/12. "Commander In Chief," 6.8/10, kept ABC in third, while an hour of "Scrubs" averaged 3.8/6 for NBC. The WB went with a "Supernatural" rerun, which topped UPN's "One on One" and "All of Us."

Boston Legal grew almost 2 ratings point out of it as well...

The next new episode is scheduled against the Olympics, and it'll be 4th place easily then.

Two words: American Idol. It doubled from Rodney, though. I'm not worried though, ABC will bring it back next fall, and with a new night I think. Mondays at 9 or 10pm would work.

I happen to agree in the fact that Commander in CHief is probably one of the best, if not the best show on Television.
