I was just checking out Retro's thread abt talk radio and how people stutter while on the air, I am referring to the callers. It can be annoying, I agree with him abt that. They stammer or stumble their words and it gets annoying.

One of my many pet peeves, are people who block the aisle in a store with their cart, and when you say "excuse me" they look at you funny, or they don't acknowledge you at all. I try to keep my cart from blocking the way, and when I do mess up and block someone's way, I immediately acknowledge them and say I am sorry, with a smile.

Yesss. For the most part, people are pretty decent, but then you get some who just dont care. They act like they dont see or hear you and play dumb so they dont have to do anything. Y(*DF*YDIUFHfda

One pet peeve of mine is when somebody corrects another person's spelling or grammar on a message board. Some people act like the world spins off its axis because someone misspelled a word or something. Grammar doesn't count on public message boards.

yeah, you know, i tend to correct my typing when i post on this forum. I do that alot. Force of habit. Being a paralegal we worked ALOT on documents. Anyhow, sometimes i have to just relax when typing and let it go. I have commented on grammar, but only in jest like this ...LOL...but it's a forum and we should have fun.

Another pet peeve of mine is when someone calls my phone and after I say hello they say "Who's this". Hey A**hole, you called me, don't you know???

Arrogance.
Ignorance
Bureaucratic idiocy
Hypocrits

People who are late. I've been late before. I don't like it. It shows disrespect. I do not wish to be disrespected. If you don't wish to disrespect me, don't be late. I know I never will be again.

People who don't anwser their cell phones. You have the phone for a reason! You know full well that I would not call you unless it's an emergency. Pick up! :angryfire

People who try to "hook me up". If I wanted a girlfriend, I could get one! I don't need help or even a push. I choose to be single.

Cars. Everyday I watch people go about in this ugly, noisy, dangerous transportation. It's irritating! It's dirty. It's harmful. It's overrated. I don't agree with our current system of placing polluting vehicles on our roads, considering it's not healthy, and it's expensive for the motorists, due to gas. We are killing ourselves everyday we use such methods to get around and I do not support it.

One of my pet peeves:
I bought ice cream for my friend a few days ago. He got the biggest size cup they offered. Normally I wouldn't mind that it was also the most expensive cup. But, he took one spoonful, ate it, and said, "This is gross." :eek2: I was like, "If you weren't sure you were gonna like it, why did you get the biggest cup??!!" That was like $5 down the drain.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people question why I do something...it's like, god, mind your own business and don't tell me how to do something. It's not like I'm harming myself in any way. I mean, I could see if someone was looking out for me, but it's usually quite condescending.

People who think everyone should love children

I agree...although I'm iffy on the subject of having children, I don't like anyone assuming that's my ultimate goal in life-- to get married and have kids. It's just not a priority for me. Things might change in the future, but for now, I'd like people to respect my decision.

I thought of some more:

People who constantly interrupt me in conversation. I had a friend who did that ALL the time(she's a big talker) and it got frustrating because I felt she wasn't listening to me and just wanted to say what she wanted to say. I had to tell her it was becoming a problem and she stopped somewhat.

People who whine to boost their self-esteem. "Oh, you don't like me. "You're not really my friend." Usually they just want me to say: "Of course I love you!" :schmack: Sometimes I feel like saying: "Yep, you're right! I'm really not your friend...I only hang out with you everyday and talk to you 24/7." ohno:

Lateness. I am big on that too...it's one thing if you're 10, even 20 minutes late. But an hour?! I've had friends that said they were coming to get me in 20 minutes and it took them nearly 2 hours! At least CALL me to let me know you're gonna be late!

People who think their opinion is the only right one. Pretty self-explanatory.

Alright, I think I'm done :D

Having had to sleep in a small cabin with 10 people...I REALLY hate it when somebody else steals MY pillows that I brought with me from home...I had to go on a hunt before I left today to find all my pillows, because they weren't on the bunk bed that I slept on. :soapbox:

I was fine with lending my Gameboy Advance SP to my younger stepcousins...but gross, they didn't wash their hands so they dirtied up my GBA SP screen. It is mine and I paid $80+ for it. Have respect for other peoples' belongings.

I nearly lost it earlier today when I was looking for a hardcover book I brought with me...it came with a dustjacket and when I finally found it, the book was on TOP of the DJ, putting a serious crease in it! :smash: Put the stupid DJ back on if you see that it is not on there. You know, when i mentioned in my post abt the cart thing, I was referencing grocery stores, but u are so right abt Wal-mart. That has to be the worst. Yeah, and that standing there for 5 mins. to decide what u want, isn't gonna get you on my "nice" list either.
