.....in her final episode on "ALICE", Flo left 'Mel's Diner' in Phoenix to take a job as a "hostess" in a big restaurant in Houston. In the first episode of her series, on her way to Houston, she stops off in her home town {Cowtown} to catch up on her family and old friends. The, she discovers the old "Yellow Rose" 'watering hole' in town is for sale. On an impulse, she decides to buy the joint and be her OWN boss. And that's where her situation took off....
