Should "Mama's Family" be considered a spin-off of the Carol Burnett Show since in TCBS, Mama has more children than in MF (I believe five and I don't believe that Vint exists in TCBS - but I may be wrong) and Eunice has two sons (Billy Joe and Bubba) in TCBS, yet in MF, she only has one (Bubba)?

Mama's Family IS a spinoff... however, they changed the "reality" of the show around when they spun it off.... ALSO if you recall the 90 minutes tv special EUNICE that aired a year before Mamas Family began.... in that special, Mama DIED!!! at the end... so reality was changed big time!!! :eek: :eek:

Mama Didn't die. You just didn't see her stepping out of the shower
at the end of the show. It was off camera (thank goodness :-)

Mamas Family was a good show that you could forgive the continuity
problems with the Carol Burnette show skits etc.
