I know that you shouldnt believe what happens on TV..But I am watching Strong Medicine right now, and I was wondering if DSS(Department of Social Services) could actually take a child away from their parents because of a weight issue. The mother of the girl was trying to get the weight under control, but they took her away anyway. Legally, can they even do that? :talk:

It depends, the child would have to be morbidly obese and the parents weren't doing anything about it.
