The twist certainly through me off guard. I liked it alot.

I haven't seen it. I'm afraid it will diminish the amount of respect I still have for De Niro.

Yup! It took me by surprise too! The only thing that bothered me about this movie is that isn't DeNiro a little old to be the father of a 10 year old? My grandchildren are older than that!(13 & 14) :lol:

Dakota Fanning was amazing in the role. She is a terrific young actress.

i saw it in theaters back in the winter...let me just say that i was staying up at my friends' place while they were out of town, alone, in a strange place, right after watching it...i slept with all the lights, the tv, and the stereo on.
freaked me out so bad.

Was the movie scary? I don't like horror movies & from lookin at the previews, it looks scary. I was thinking about seeing Angel Heart movie last weekend with Mickey Rourke, Robert Deniro, Lisa Bonet. Has anybody seen that? It looks scary.
