Mabel King was not easy to look at and on top of it she wasn;t funny. Added nothing to the show at all and just mainly was in the way which is why the shoe seemed better when she wasn;t there. Man, I told you that you got a weird taste in characters. Mabel King was a very good actress. She wasn't meant to be funny. I didn't look for her to say funny stuff. Mabel wasn't used right, that's why she was phased out. How could you dislike her? Dee, I could see. But don't be hatin' Mabel for something that wasn't her strength. She's an actress first, comic last. Remember, the show didn't revolve around her. She provided that strong mother figure. You can't look for everyone to provise you laughs. I like a lot of actors and actresses for different reasons.


Then again, anybody that hates Mother Jefferson doesn't have a sense of humor.

Florida wasn't funny. She was like Mabel. Aunt Esther, and Florence were funny too.

Mabel rocked! I loved her in the Puppy Love episode.
