yeah it shocked me because when she was a teen she use to date Johnny Galecki (David) in real life. In an interview once she was talking about it and how it was a bad idea to date someone you work with because when you break up it makes it hard on set to work with that person.

And the Blossom kids and Roseanne kids would hang out while they were on the lots and that's how they met. Ain't no big deal to me...tell me she is a criminal or something terrible then I would be shocked. Her sister is Melissa Gilbert of Little House. Now when I heard and read that, I WAS SHOCKED. I know Melissa is adopted so I was curious if Sara is too.

No she's not adopted. Her mom, Barbara, got pregnant after she married Sara's dad, Harold Abeles. Yeah, Melissa and their brother Jonathan Gilbert were both adopted(as babies) when Barbara was married to the late Paul Gilbert which was before she married Harold Abeles. Soon after Barbara and Paul got divorced, Barbara got married again, had Sara, and Paul either passed away before or after Sara was born. I haven't really looked into that part yet. No, no. Paul Gilbert the comic/actor. And she's not related to him. Her mom was married to him before she married Sara's dad. Sara took his last name when she was six, which was when she entered the business.
