So there must be another reason, and theyr'e just using that reason to cover things up. goldengirlsfan03 07-16-2005, 04:43 PM lol I have watched Full House forever, and I just caught it today when I was watching it. Why would they change his name? Who knows! lol  Vegas Girl 07-16-2005, 04:57 PM I heard that the actor, John Stamos, wanted to have the name changed to reflect his OWN Greek heritage. goldengirlsfan03 07-17-2005, 02:50 PM Oh. Didn't they think that the fans of the show would catch it?!? LoL musicradio77 07-17-2005, 07:40 PM According to Mary-Kate & Ashley's biography "Our Story", "Jesse's last name was Cochran, but in the 4th season, he changed to its family's greek name Katsopolis". That's what it says in the book. Coory 07-17-2005, 11:57 PM On the season 1 DVD they talk about it changing during the second season. John wanted to reflect his greek heritage. tyler8782005 08-27-2005, 06:58 PM It makes sense that they changed his last name, because he is greek and Cochran is not a greek name, but Katsopolis is, I also think Katsopolis fits him better than Cochran, too Southern Hellraiser 08-27-2005, 09:09 PM I heard that the actor, John Stamos, wanted to have the name changed to reflect his OWN Greek heritage. I remember someone saying that on E! True Hollywood Story. Iluvjesse_05 08-28-2005, 12:54 AM Yea Duh anyone who knows there Full House knows that and u didn't even spell Catzopolis right!! Thank-you Johnny S 08-28-2005, 12:58 AM Yea Duh anyone who knows there Full House knows that and u didn't even spell Catzopolis right!! Thank-you I believe the correct spelling would be "Katsopolis". Rachel3118 08-28-2005, 10:05 PM The new name fit him better and it was geek so it worked better. It is wierd to have the last name change but it isn't that noticable so it doesn't reallt matter. |
