DVD?

Checking In-1981
Grady-1975
Sanford Arms-1977

I would say Checking In because for some reason, I feel that in 2006, The Sanford and Son spinoffs will be released and the title will be-"The Sanford and Son Spinoffs" On the other hand, checking in may never be released on DVD because it only produced 4 eps and it's no other spinoff to combine it with. But Grady produced 12 eps and Sanford Arms produced 8 eps and not only that, they are both connected to a TV show that's complete on DVD. So you know the spinoffs are coming!!!!!! Trust me

Sanford Arms - it has the best name recognition and both the Esther and Grady characters. Since neither this nor Grady lasted long, the best bet would be to package them together.

Pretty sure none of these will show up on dvd.

I can almost say definite.

I mean really, can you blame anyone for not releasing this stuff?

Look how many lasting shows with 4 or more seasons have not been released.

I'll take Alice over Grady any day and twice on Sun..well everyday.

My bad, I didn't read the whole post. I thought it said which show has the best chance. Disregard what I said, but I agree about the Sanford spinoffs.

Chico and the Man
Alice
One day at a Time

i guess all my emails about releasing That's My mama on DVD contributed to the release-lol

AND...AND.. You still don't think that show has a good lead character or can point to why you think it is worthwhile.

Small quips from Junior and the gang is enough for you??

I read that season 1 was very good. That's why I'm buying it. Even TV Guide felt season 1 was enjoyable. So that's enough for me to buy it

Hey, I used to like the show! I enjoyed watching it.

Clifton was the straight man and I understand a lot of what you are saying about it being laid back.

I'm sure when we all watch it again we can get down to the nitty gritty about what was good and what was ah, not so good.

I'd get them all, but I think both Grady and Sanford Arms have the best chance for release.

Sanford & Son seems to have sold very well, while The Jeffersons for some bizarre unexplained reason continues to dissappoint Sony.

If TV ONE ever picks up the Jeffersons, I won't have to worry about the show being released on DVD

Well the fact that I would be able to convert my UNCUT versions to DVD in 2006, I wouldn't need to by any more seasons on DVD

That's what I mean. People who don't have a channel that would show uncut eps don't have that opportunity. Either way I'd still want the dvds to be released.

So anyway, you're getting a dvd recorder? Are you going to move into the dvd trading business?

Looks like I don't have a choice because I'm completely ignored on the Trading Board Because I'm a VHS Trader. I'm treated like a red headed step child in Kmart-LOL

considering "Checking In" only ran four episodes, it's very possible that if/when Sony releases Jeffersons season 7 in 2030, they will probably use the four episodes as a bonus.

really now?

that is a big shock.

The Jeffersons is a very popular show.

Today, I tried to get the first two seasons at Best Buy.

Best Buy didn't have any.

Except one copy of the THIRD SEASON!

I already have the third season.

So, I went home and ORDERED the first two seasons ONLINE at Columbia House.

True, but there is only four episodes, not enough to sell on a DVD and too many to have as a bonus feature.

I have never try Ebay.

I tried Amazon before. I was tempted to order from them for The Jeffersons.

Instead, I went with Columbia House.

Now, I am having doubts about CH; i heard they are no good.

I may cancel my TODAY's order from them.

I would try Amazon again.

Is Columbia House any good?
