Yeah, my car's a 97. It doesn't have anything wrong with it, but I would appreciate it if people would stop running into it. My car has been hit on both sides, the back, and the front. It also had a basketball kicked into the windshield.

Why do guys name their cars? I've never understood that. The first accident I was in happened at my friends house. My car was parked along the ditch, and her stupid neighbor from across the road wasn't paying attention and she backed into it, and it really screwed up the driver's side door. My car isn't that big, but damn. It's silver! Not invisible.

Silver is a very bad colour accident -wise...especially in snowy or foggy/rainy weather; they DO become invisible...Id NEVER buy a silver or white car ( I had a white Bug, but...never again )
As for naming our cars, well, they ARE our second closest relationships...after our dogs :rolleyes: but anyway, I named my cars, in order...

MONTREAL (CP) - The Montreal World Film Festival has cancelled its premiere of a film based on the slayings of two Ontario schoolgirls by Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka.

In a tersely worded statement released late Wednesday, the festival said it had decided to cancel the showing of Karla scheduled for the opening of the festival on Aug. 26, citing opposition to the film.

"Following the debate raised by the announcement of a showing of Karla during the festival, as well as the discomfort expressed by a number of the sponsors concerning their clients, the management of the World Film Festival has decided to not present this film at the festival," the statement said.

The film, originally titled Deadly, has been subjected to vocal opposition in Ontario from the public and politicians alike with numerous calls for a boycott.

Karla, set for release this fall, chronicles the ominous courtship of Homolka and Bernardo and their sordid murders of Ontario teens Kristen French and Leslie Mahaffy in the 1990s.

It stars Laura Prepon, best known for playing Donna on the TV comedy That '70s Show. The film's website suggests the storyline is sympathetic to Homolka, who was released from prison in Montreal last month.

She is said to be living in Montreal and has kept a low profile since her release with the exception of one interview with Radio-Canada, the French-language network of the CBC.

Tim Danson, lawyer for the French and Mahaffy families, has called the film exploitive and sensational and criticized the festival's initial decision to book it.

The French and Mahaffy families have been assured by the film's producer, Michael Sellers, that an exclusive screening would be arranged for them in Toronto and that some of the film's more explicit scenes have already been edited out.

All I wanted was to end my life with the cut of a blade
So I did it at a quarter ‘till eight
Yes, the plan worked and I had died
But where I went was a big surprise
It was far from heaven and far from hell
“I must be in a Gothic Paradise.” I thought to myself

I had dreamed of this place since I was a child
But I had dreamed of it tender and mild.
For this place were certainly not any of those
Unlike anything you would ever find in Vogue.

Welcoming me were fallen angels from the sky
And they asked me “What brought you to your suicide?”
I tell them “I was unhappy. I am a fallen angel, just like you.”
“Oh, young girl, you were far from us. You had so much left to do!”
“The world rejected me, all the time I was oh so blue!”
“Very well, one day, in this realm you will be a fallen angel, too”

I walk around and find that I am dressed differently than before my death.
My dark, raven hair curly and teased high
And a black corseted dress that is pulled tight.
Black ballet shoes grace my feet
Wrapped until the ribbon meets my knee
“I look beautiful for once in my life!”

We don't even do it like that. We have to do Math A1, math A2, math B1 and math B2. It's basically a little of everything except each level is harder. They're going to change it to the way you guys do it, but everyone who's started the A's and B's isn't going to change, they're going to finish it off.

I finally have my car, it was a struggle to the end...even as late as today when i had the car insured, titled and plated, a new weird sound started coming out of the right front wheel, the prob was quickly found and corrected, but once again, the fates were sending one last raspberry my way. I was so tired, i just drove it home, and parked it in the driveway, didnt even TRY to show it off. its a gold* Ford Escort wagon, cute , as far as wagons go...AKA not ugly ;) *Strangely, the registration calls the colour "brown" :confused:
