Do You Ever Think This Will Return With New Episodes To NBC Or CBS, I Know Robert Stack Passed Away And It Wont Be The Same I Just Wish It Would Return With New Episodes

I doubt it... and if it did, it wouldn't be to NBC, CBS, ABC, or FOX. It would be to a cable channel.

I'm afraid it's the end of any new Unsolved Mysteries episodes.

Unfortunately, I think you're right. :(

I doubt it. Television has changed so much in the last twenty years. I can't imagine a program like UM doing well amongst the current lineup of shows like Survivor, Desperate Housewives, and the like. I'm not knocking those shows, just saying that UM is very different. If it were to come back, it would probably be on a cable channel. Regardless, I think UM's glory days are sadly over. However, a part of me is glad. Do you really think any modern day incarnation could compare to those great years of UM that were '87-'93?

Good points.

I couldn't agree more. If it were to come back, I doubt that any of the non-cable primetime networks would be interested, even if they were in a serious programming slump. So it would have to be a cable channel.

It's sad because those shows mentioned above don't hold a candle to Unsolved Mysteries. Old episodes or new, I still and will always prefer it over those crappy shows, JMO.

IMO nothing holds a candle to Unsolved Mysteries!
