One of my 4 favorite sitcoms of all time, in fact. Bill Cosby is the funniest man in the entire world IMO. My hero. I also really liked Amen, Benson, Gimme A Break, Diff'rent Strokes, 227, A Different World and the little I've seen of Webster (no pun intended). I watched and loved it during its original run. Thanks to Nick@Nite, I've since overdosed on the show, and can't watch a single episode anymore. Still, it's a classic. Well written and acted. The same happened with M*A*S*H for me, but after a few years I still go back and watch it again. The only shows I can't watch again of Cosby (and when I stopped watching on the original run) was with cousin Pam. I also like Benson a lot and Webster (although, I don't really consider Webster to be a black comedy even though the lead character was black). I tried watching A Different World and didn't mind it, but it wasn't one of my favourites. Whatever happened to Sinbad anyway? That guy's head always seemed too small for his body.
