I'm not sure if this topic has been done yet...probably has. Does anyone have any autographs from a famous person or people?

I have two autographs...Jami Gertz (from the early 1990's) and Nicole deBoer (from 1999). Anyone who knows me probably will not find this to be much of a surprise. :lol:

I have a signed playbill from the broadway musical "Hairspray", compliments of Kaitlyn. It's hanging on my fridge. It includes the autograph of Marissa Jaret Winokur, one of my favorite broadway actresses of all time. I cried when I first saw it.


Oh yeah... I also have a Nancy McKeon one and several personalized things from Lisa Whelchel, but what the hell do I want with those now?

Just stuff I bought off ebay. Oh, and Allison had to get me Richard Dawson's because when I wrote, it disappeared or I scared him or something.

About 90% of my pictures are personalized. :) I send an index card with every letter I send out -- to explain the index card in my letters, I say something like "If you don't have a picture handy, I am enclosing an index card that you can sign. It's up to you if you want to sign it or not." and I also ask them to personalize their pictures to me, if possible. :)

We should hopefully have a few free days to sightsee in NYC so I'll hopefully swing by to check out NYU. But right now, the first priority for me is to get tix to see Tony Danza's show. :D

Since it's summer and his show is on hiatus, you can't get tix now. If I had to guess, he's probably booked through October or so. There's standby tix, which you don't need to send out for so if you have a free day, you can try to get standby on his show. :) His show's studio is at 57 West 66th Street, I just checked his website.

I keep my autographs in a 2-inch binder with clear sheet protectors. :D I'm going to have to start a new one soon - I'm almost out of space. :lol:

I would love to get Conan O'Brien's auto. and I used to want John Ritter's, but then he died!conan is not hard to get at all ive heard that he is wonderful to fans in person and i think he might still sign by mail. if you buy a signed photo from a dealer it should run you 25 to 35 dollars for a b&w photo he has also been known to readly sign baseballs mags. and just about everything put in front of him so wichever route you go in getting a conan autograph you will have no trouble finding one good luck

Do you think if I just sent a letter with a SASE I'll get a signed picture back eventually?im pretty sure you would get something like i said im not 100 percent sure about his signing habits thru the mail these days but you might at least get a preprint but you never know ive heard stories of people who wont give fans the time of day in person sending real autographs through the mail. so if these jerks do it you have a 50 50 chance of a super nice guy like conan sending you the real thing good luck and please let us know how your conan quest turns out.

Why don't you get one on eBay sometime? I really regret not writing to him while he was alive, I just couldn't really work up the nerve, but now I REALLY regret it.

What you do is...Stick them in an envelope, seal it, put a stamp on it and put my address on it :D
