From "The Book of TV Lists" (1981)
John Ritter lists his 5 favorite current comedy series:
1. Laverne and Shirley
2. Happy Days
3. Mork & Mindy
(About the above three, Ritter says, "We all know each other and we like to watch each other's work. It's a lot of fun.")
4. Three's Company
("This one's got some great people in it. I especially like that young good-looking male lead... what's his name?...")
5. M*A*S*H
("The timing and delivery, the writing... it's fabulous.")
And three favorites from days gone by:
1. I Spy (1965-1968)
("I never missed it. If I had time, I'd catch the reruns in the afternoon.")
2. The Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968)
("I really liked Don Knotts on this show.")
3. I Married Joan (1952-1955)
("She used to get into some wild screwball situations. It was a real funny show.")
I like John's comment about his own show!
