I have the album '...Young and in Love'. It is a tribute collection if I'm choosing the right phrase. He sings songs from motown greats disco style. :cool:

Judith Cohen should've released a 45 with the clown songs. They could've gave it a picture sleeve that stated: As seen on the CBS hit series "Good Times" starring Esther Rolle and Jimmie Walker" or something cheesy like that. Judith could've worn her clown collar for the picture. :happyface

Ralph could sing.Maybe under the right circumstances, he could have been a hit maker.But not singing those songs like he did for the cab drivers in the final season.

I am no singer, but I was not impressed with Ralph Carter's singing in the rent party episode. I thought it was about rent party quality. James had no ear for good singing.

Thank u Brieannas. It was obvious that John Amos and Esther Rolle were proud of him no matter what. You could tell they really enjoyed his singing and they looked at him as if he really were their young son.

Hey don't get me wrong, I liked michael in the rent party too, and the day care talent show, and the Xmas show in the Taxi garage. The thing I didn't like about the Taxi garage show was how Michael kept looking in the camera while he was singing, I don't think he was suppose to do that, it wasn't like they was on TV or anything.

Hey all guess what I heard on Sirius Satellite radio today in my car? RALPH CARTER. That song he sang in "rent party"!!!!!!! It sounded nothing like how i heard it on the show. I couldn't believe it. I had it on one of my fave stations "The Strobe". They play R&B, disco, funk, etc. I heard this song come on and I said to myself, hey that sounds like that song that Michael sang. Then I looked at my radio screen and the artist name showed Ralph Carter and the title of the song. OMG...hilarious!!!!
