Hollow 05-05-2005, 01:28 AM yeah. being in a state of melancholy i don't limit myself to anything and just do relaxing things for the hell of it. just eat whatever's there, listen to boring music, do activities i don't really care about like painting my nails, just do with whatever is around me. SBTB Geek 05-05-2005, 02:45 AM I'm a pig when it comes to Sunflower seeds Me too!... Sunflower seeds with a cold Coke is my weakness! :) ~*Emma*~ 05-05-2005, 03:45 AM I pig out heaps whenever we have chocolate or dip and biscuits (SO ADDICTIVE! :D ) Belair 05-05-2005, 04:22 AM I pig out guilt free :D Its usually on Doritos and Salsa, and once I ate a whole box (8) of Magnum icecreams. Now I feel like one right now..... BUT if you dont want to pig out,the easy solution is dont buy that foods that tempt you too.Thats impossible for me though because I NEED something sugary and fattening in the house! If I dont have chocolate at least I have to immediately go out and buy it.Yep,I'm a shocker.Food is my weakness. Lee 05-05-2005, 06:29 AM I engage in gluttony just about every Sunday. TripperFan 05-05-2005, 09:20 AM Isn't it supposed to be one of the seven deadly sins?? I do the most random things. Janice 05-05-2005, 11:15 AM I rarely overeat. I don't like the feeling of being overfull. Certain foods, like Chinese food, chips and dips or pasta...I can eat a lot of, but I'm always watching my weight. If I ate the way I wanted, I'd weigh 250 pounds. Seinatra 05-05-2005, 11:21 AM I ate a big bag of chili cheese fritos the other day. Those kind of salty, flavored snacks are about the only thing I go hog wild on. I've even stopped the pigging out at Thanksgiving and Christmas - I hated that bloated, sick feeling afterwards. Besides, someone has to stay away to do all the needed cleanup after. :p Brian Damage 05-05-2005, 11:22 AM I never binge eat, but I'll snack on something late at night from time to time. dawsongirl 05-05-2005, 04:02 PM i just finished an entire bag of chips ahoy...anyone else pig out like crazy sometimes? I've wanted to with chips. Basically I do that just with ice cream, which isn't very often, considering ice cream doesn't always like me. phoebe7165 05-05-2005, 04:37 PM I rarely overeat. If I ate the way I wanted, I'd weigh 250 pounds. I used to gorge myself alot, but quite a few times, I would eat so much, I would just get sick. I wasn't bulimic though. Finally I'm thinking this is B.S. I don't know why I'm doing this. So I quit. Now I stop way before I get too full. Even at restaurants, I take alot of my meal home. dawsongirl 05-05-2005, 05:01 PM I used to gorge myself alot, but quite a few times, I would eat so much, I would just get sick. It's a running joke in my family that when I go to a restaurant, I might as well just get a box before I ever start eating because I'll never finish it. phoebe7165 05-05-2005, 05:05 PM It's a running joke in my family that when I go to a restaurant, I might as well just get a box before I ever start eating because I'll never finish it. Yeah, I know!!! Take for example, I go to Outback. We get a half order of cheese fries(have to get those because they are soooo good). This is only half order. Then they bring you the bread and your salad. By then, I'm already getting full. They bring my steak, I can only eat a few mouthfuls. I guess that would kind of getting your money's worth, because then it's 2 meals. Same here - I hate restaurants that have those gigantic portions. Seeing too much food on my plate will put me right off. I wish they offered a "half portion" option on the menus. Dutabi84 05-05-2005, 07:20 PM This is why I don't buy cheetos any more. If I buy a big bag of them, they're guaranteed to be gone before I even get the receipt. AllIWantIsYourClutch 05-05-2005, 07:24 PM Lately I've been so stressed out about everything, it's like I'm always eating something. I know I shouldn't and I know it isn't doing me any good, but it's almost like a nervous habit. MsOrange 05-05-2005, 07:25 PM I engage in gluttony just about every Sunday. how ironic it's exam week... so yes, binging has been my friend Janet McFarland 05-05-2005, 09:06 PM I can't survive unless there's a bag of Cheetos or another bag of chips in the house. I eat tons of junk food but I don't gain anything. I love to just pig out on anything. MsOrange 05-05-2005, 09:09 PM I eat tons of junk food but I don't gain anything. must be nice i gain 5 lbs just looking at Mrs. Field's chocolate chip cookies Janice 05-05-2005, 09:11 PM I eat tons of junk food but I don't gain anything. Lost it for awhile, but it's back. Warm & Fuzzy 05-09-2005, 07:20 AM I binge all the time. :( Been bingeing every day for the past errr.... I've lost track. :( 30 lb weight gain since last year. :( I wouldn't call it gluttony, tho, just an eating disorder. ABlairican Pie 05-09-2005, 08:18 AM I eat too much probably because I feel depressed. :( I am overweight and feel powerless to conquer it. *MIBabe03* 05-09-2005, 09:57 AM I eat too much probably because I feel depressed. :( I am overweight and feel powerless to conquer it. I used to be like that, until I found out that I have Diabetes. It's amazing how something like that can turn things around. julian bozo 05-09-2005, 05:59 PM All the time. Warm & Fuzzy 05-09-2005, 06:14 PM I eat too much probably because I feel depressed. :( I am overweight and feel powerless to conquer it.I binge eat for the same reasons: depression, self-loathe, low self-esteem, etc. But don't fret, you can do it, Greg. :) Everybody is capable of conquering obesity. Just try to find another way to cope with your feelings. Every time you want to eat and you are not physically hungry... just pop in Lisa Whelchel's CD or something. It wouldn't work for ME, but hey... it might do wonders for you! Try it. Do what makes you happy. :) TheGreatPretender 05-09-2005, 07:47 PM I binge like a maniac. It's not even sometimes a matter of depression. It's just like I can't ever go on without food or I wouldn't survive almost. |
