2005 Guide to the Upfronts: When Do I Find Out?

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- One of our most frequently asked questions is - when do I found out if (insert show name here) will be renewed? Well look no further for the answer. The six major broadcast networks will announce their initial 2005-06 season plans during their annual "upfront presentations" starting Monday, May 16. It's then you'll get the final verdict on all of their current series as well as which pilots have been given series orders.
Until then, here's a list of when each network presents (all times TBA). Be sure to visit the Showatch section for more information on the status of all the broadcast network series as well as our Pilot Charts to see which projects are under consideration for next season.
NBC - MONDAY, MAY 16
(Metropolitan Opera House - New York)
ABC - TUESDAY, MAY 17
(New Amsterdam Theater - New York)
The WB - TUESDAY, MAY 17
(Sheraton Towers Imperial Ballroom - New York)
CBS - WEDNESDAY, MAY 18
(Carnegie Hall - New York)
FOX - THURSDAY, MAY 19*
(City Center Theatre - New York)
UPN - THURSDAY, MAY 19
(Madison Square Garden - New York)
* Prior to its May 19 upfront presentation, FOX is expected to announce as early as Monday its full summer schedule which will run through its MLB playoff coverage in October.
