I have been working non stop-and I mean that, over 100 hours a week, for a project to come in under a deadline. And I was talking (whining?) about it to a group of people at the Moonlighting Social Club-and one man asked me what I Really want to do to feel better. And I said watch some Moonlighting.
Well the Moonlighting Social Club is big on setting up committees, to discuss how to solve members problems--and they take this very seriously. I mean you would have thought I had lost every thing I owned and then some-the way they reacted.
Well the solution is that a house is rented on the beach between the next meeting of the Moonlighting Social Club (Tuesday, March 29th, 9p.m.) and the meeting of the Moonlighting Social Club (April 5th, Tuesday, 9p.m.)-and everyone 'donated' and people are taking vacation days or weekend days, and I am dispatched to the house to watch the entire run of Moonlighting! Eleven episodes a day-for 6 days! In my non 'California' life I would think this was unusual, but they are Marla's friends, and Marla does this sort of thing all the time. Anyway, I'll let you know what I think of the Moonlighting emersion.
