She seems different, not as funny. Plus I think she at first powdered her hair white, then they switched to a wig. Dorothy also seems different. A lot of remarks were made at HER expense too, so everyone gave as good as they got. Honestly guys, the bittersweet comments everyone made at everyone is part of what made that show hilariously funny. But as the show went on she lost some of that meaness and had that Sophia charm that can make anyone laugh. With all of Dorothy's "Sicilian Gecko" and "Shady Pines" comments, Sophia got (almost) as much as she gave. Besides, Sophia made fun of Blanche and Rose too, not just Dorothy.
