Yeah, I heard that on one of the Golden Girls Website. Betty White changed her mind about playing Blanche because she played a slutty character on Mary Tyler Moore. I think Rue played an airhead character on either Mama's Family or Maude. Yes, I'm glad Betty White played Rose and Rue McClanahan played Blanche. That was perfect.
