He's very talented and has long needed that one big break. He got it with Sideways. That movie and his Oscar nomination are going to open doors wide open for him. Great news! I heard he'll be resurrecting his role as Lowell to play the villain on Spiderman 3. Just because Spider-Man doesn't win an Oscar doesn't mean its not as good. All the Spider-Man movies have gotten good critical acclaim. I don't think so - Spiderman movies have done real well both critically and financially and I am glad to see THC getting more roles these days!! I could have understood the "sold out" comment when he did 'George of the Jungle 2' but not Spiderman 3. I'm sure there will be an answer in a few days... I could see him as either Sandman or Electro. I really don't want The Lizard to be a main villain. I liked him on the cartoons, but I don't think I'd like him in the movies. Sandman was a villain I never liked, until last year. I think he would be the next step up from Doc Ock. I mean, he's sand. It would be hard for Spidey to defeat him. I've always been an Electro fan. I'm just not sure if he would fit well in the movies. Oh well. Either way, I'm glad it's gonna be Thomas Haden Church! CBfanNY 04-01-2005, 08:49 AM I have been reading on a couple of sites that the rumors coming out of SONY are that he will be playing SANDMAN in the upcoming Spiderman 3 movie. I have seen 2 different postings relating to the fact that there is a ton of SANDMAN concept art floating around the Spiderman offices........
