I don't get this, why does MJ bring race in when it's convienient for him? He's never wanted to be black in the past, so why now does he suddenly use his race as an issue? He's about as representative of the black community as Christina Aguilera is of the caucasian community (she's jumped on the Latin and hip hop bandwagons and even criticized Jennifer Love Hewitt for only dating white men, despite the fact she is white herself)

I am sorry, I don't care how much I used to like his music, I will never support or EVER listen to the man again after what he's done to countless boys, I cannot condone it.

An attorney on CNN said he's a black man that looks like a white woman. I know that area the trial is being held my aunt used to live there and a couple of cousins still live there I've lived in the county. there aren't that many black people. and the Santa Ynez valley where Jackson lives is mostly white. in this case race doesn't matter, because he's a celebrity and it was hard to find people who would be fair.

maybe they learned their lessons from OJ and don't want to repeat it? I know a lot of African-Americans (not all, some have sense) who still feel OJ was innocent and feel binded to him, why? because he's black. They don't want MJ to get off by means of race like OJ did, he deserves to be convicted, and with an all white/Hispanic/Asian jury, he'll get what is coming to him. There's that chance he'd get off like OJ did, and he deserves to be locked away

I am willing to bet if Boy George was on trial, there wouldn't be any gays in the jury, or if a high-profile Jewish celebrity was on trial, they'd make sure not to get anybody with "Jewish names", or etc... They learned their lesson from the fiasco of OJ Simpson getting off that they know not to do it again.
