My VCR was still running after the last Carson show when Johnny left, and it recorded Dave's show and MJF was a guest. Weird. MJF looked good, he's still having trouble speaking but was his usual charming self, got some laughs from the audience. Not just laughs - huge welcome applause. :) Very nice to see him getting such support. He did look pretty good, if a little physically uncomfortable at times. I have missed quite a few of his Letterman appearances over the years.
