Apparently they don't even want to acknowledge Friends in the first season, in an attempt to further establish itself separately. Which I think is a bad idea - obviously, the references should be to a minimum, but none at all is a little silly. I definatly think the Joey show didn't use enough friends refrences. He can not just forget about the people that he was that close with. |
