She wanted to be popular. So she changes everything she likes just to be popular? I think thats kinda sad, but oh well. I don't think she changed everything to be popular, she just grew out of her "weirdness" Like Michael Jacobs said on the commentary for "Hair Today, Goon Tomorrow" that was on the Season 1 DVD, the moment Topanga got her hair fixed after she cut it to prove her point to Cory, is when she was no longer weird. I mean really, would we have wanted her weirdness to last 7 seasons? That would have been a bit boring IMO.
