Maybe this was just a rumour. :( September would have been the perfect time to release Gidget because it's the 40th anniversary of the series. Of course I'd prefer commercial quality, but until that becomes a reality, episodes off of TV will suffice. I wished the show had lasted a lot longer! My favorite episodes was when Gidget had the slumber party, but everyone slowly ended up leaving. I also like the one where the exchange student, Ingrid came to live w/ the Lawrences & she quickly learned to do as the Americans do, even steal Gidget's boyfriend right from under her nose.
