Since this is a show about families trading MOTHERS, why is it called Wife Swap? Wife Swap would mean the husbands trading wives. Anyone Agree?

Just started watching 2 weeks ago and will be watching from now on. :D It's Husband swap tonight BTW. TVFactFan 12-01-2004, 08:53 PM Originally posted by Brent88 How about the I don't care option. It could go both ways... the fathers are married and are husbands and the mothers are married and are wives. TVFactFan 12-01-2004, 09:37 PM Originally posted by Brent88 WHAT DOES IT MATTER? So that's why I was shocked when I heard the title of the show back in the summer. FactsofLifeRulz 12-12-2004, 01:29 AM I think WifeSwap sounds better than MotherSwap.. MomSwap? All I could think of was the All in the Family episode where Edith unknowly advertise for a wife swap. Louise Jefferson tells her what the ad really is. After the Janet Jackson fiasco, I thought the sensors will flip with this. Fortunally it wasn't what I thought.
