And Luger can be annoying too. xroxdrumer 04-27-2001, 12:19 AM I hated all the short lived detectives who were tried out.. Wentworth , Batista , Dorsey Dave90GT 04-29-2001, 10:12 PM Originally posted by xroxdrumer: I hated all the short lived detectives who were tried out.. Lady T 12-21-2003, 04:19 AM I cannot stand Levitt:o Mr. Television 12-21-2003, 04:25 AM I didn't care for Scanlon. Luger was great though. I thought Luger was hilarious; one of the funniest characters...Levitt was too much of a phony behind kisser towards Barney... John O 01-09-2004, 09:57 PM Dorsey was the one I liked the least. Scanlon was just fine as was Luger. Scanlon was the guy I liked to dislike, but his character was a great contrast to the rest of the cast. Lady T 01-11-2004, 09:05 PM Originally posted by John O Dorsey was the one I liked the least. I agree with you about Scanlon, he was one of those type of people that you love to hate.... Janice 01-23-2004, 02:31 AM Scanlon was great. He was a maniac, and his facial expressions were priceless. Luger was terrific too with his trips down Memory Lane. My least favorite characters were the short-lived detectives. The main cast was incredible. Each character was a stroke of casting genius. They played off each other brilliantly. Lady T 01-23-2004, 02:39 AM Originally posted by Janice Scanlon was great. He was a maniac, and his facial expressions were priceless. I couldnt tolerant Roz from the 4th season; she was basically a replacement while Jack Soo was covering from just being treated from Cancer....:( Janice 01-23-2004, 02:43 AM Originally posted by Mrs. R.N.HARRIS I couldnt tolerant Roz from the 4th season; she was basically a replacement while Jack Soo was covering from just being treated from Cancer....:( His death was very tragic. I used to post quite frequently on this board when Barney Miller was airing on TV Land, and we used to discuss Jack Soo in great detail. They gave him a wonderful tribute show, which is more than I can say for the jerks at Cheers who did nothing when Nick Colasanto (Coach) passed away. They did nothing. The Jack Soo Retrospective is one of my Favorite episodes of Barney Miller; I was truly moved how the other actors expressed their feelings on such a wonderful person,..I think Max Gail was crying at the end and Ron Glas looked pretty red eyed as well... |
