I haven't seen that show either. I heard of it and seen TV ads of it though. the episode will be on Friday November 26. Complete Savages is on ABC.

Yes, it is. I checked on ABC's website. I looked under the section for the shows. I looked at that show section. It said it was up a People's Choice for best new comedy.

Complete Savages was good, but only for the pilot.

I don't like it.
Maybe it's the all-male cast that irritates me.
BUT, I'm a fan of Shelley Long, and I'll watch this episode, although I despise Mel Gibson.

Plans are interrupted, though, when Nick and Jimmy are unexpectedly called away on a fire, so the boys decide to surprise Nick by making Thanksgiving dinner on their own. In looking up the proper way to cook a turkey online, they find a video of Thanksgiving safety tips hosted by none other than Officer Cox. However the stores are now sold out of turkeys, so they resort to buying a live one -- and get more than they bargained for. I saw it. Shelley looked fine and was funny. Her part was small. Her part was fine. The show overall was okay.

She didn't have much of a role, but she did look good.

Shelley was the mother of a girl that one of the Savage boys were dating. The girlfriend invited him over for Thanksgiving. Shelley's character was sweet, but snooty at the same time. The funniest person in those scenes were from the uncle, who played the super in Friends.(The guy who learned ballroom dancing from Joey)

She was great in it. She looked gorgeous, her hair in the episode looked like it was so blonde that it was almost white :eek: That's probably just how they wanted the character though.

The episode was hilarious IMO

I have to say, this was my first sampling of the show, and it wasn't bad.

At 10:30p, I looked at my watch and was a little bummed. I get so caught up in my "Frasier" dvd - geez!
