Not sure which ep it was, but Fred was singing it along the lines of the Doublemint gum jingle:
"Double your pleasure, double your fun -
I'm Freddie G. Sanford...the "g" stands for gummmmm..."
Ohio8 12-18-2004, 02:57 PM The episode the "'g' is for 'gummmm'" was after Woody and Esther adopted Daniel and those three and Fred were in Woody's hardware store and Fred noticed Doris, the store's salesgirl.
glenny 12-18-2004, 05:04 PM Was that the girl (Doris) that Fred said "he liked her display".
Ohio8 01-12-2005, 03:36 PM YouBigDummy, I think the "gum" episode was in the sixth season. It was the one in Woody and Esther's store, where Woody tells Fred that he's twice Doris's (the salesgirl) age, the fRed sings this to her:
"Double your pleasure,
double your fun .
I'm Freddy G. Sanford;
the 'g' is for 'gummmm.'
"Oh yes." :)

Ohio8 01-28-2005, 03:26 PM Unofficially (it was never said), the "G" also stood for "Gots a big mouth."
