TVShowsOnDVD reports that the total runtime for the set is 572 minutes. Well, I did a rough calculation and that turns out to be around 26 minutes per episodes! I smell original broadcast prints :)

I'm also psyched that the set will contain the never before seen pilot as an extra.

 26 minutes? Isn't that a bit unusual for a show that late in the 80's?

Well I realized that the runtime mentioned was 572, not 576, but still when divided by 22 it comes up to 26 even. My guess is that the original long opening may be what makes these episodes so long.

Potential release date set for February 8, 2005. It is said to include the alternate pilot episode, creator commentary, and a trivia track. Two double sided discs priced around $25-$30. Not a bad price when you consider that you are basically paying for four discs.

I wish more DVD sets were double-sided discs. It would take up less space and be cheaper.

offtopic: I know you are suspended, this is a discussion about a DVD cover art of "Full House", not "Boy Meets World" and "Home Improvement". As I noticed it on the first post, the DVD cover for season 1 rules.

I think the cover looks a little girlish. It should look more yellowish, for the logo.

I heard that the unaired pilot lasts 55 minutes long.

They air 30 minutes of it on ABC Family and Nick@Nite.

They dont air the unaired pilot at all. Hence unaired pilot. Its the one where Jone Possey or w/e played Danny Tanner.

The cover art looks 80'ish. Which is what they are going for.

I hope I would look forward to that. If I have the first season on DVD-R I recorded off of TV, I couldn't get it. If not, I might as well rent it at Blockbuster to watch the pilot with John Posey as Danny Tanner.:D

Horrendous coverart, horrendous overall box.... but I'll still be getting it soon.
FH peaked in Season 2, but Season 1 was still pretty good.

If I understood Jeff Franklin's comments correctly, season 2 is already being planned. No release date has been set however.
