So I lost my wallet yesterday, and I looked high and low for it, I fallowed my tracks just now and I still can't find it. I just got my new drivers card, but I can get another one,at least my picture will be better. I hate my picture  any waysit's gotta be here somewhere. But if not I have to get another one I had this wallet for ever.

Yeah I lost my wallet in Washington, DC last year. Luckily, my $300 was not inside [it was all spent ] but I still lost my library card, school ID (that I needed to get on Andrews Airforce Base- what a hassel without it) and a bunch of other cards, not to mention my cute wallet :(

hope you find it!

One time I lost my driver's license, so I went and got a new one (better picture!). Then my old one turned up at the school library.

i have one of those wallets with a chain that hooks on to your front belt loop. probably a lot less easier to lose.

I lost my wallet in Disney World before. Thank God some janitor guy found it and returned it to the lost and found in the front of the park :)

But... loosing wallets suck :( I hope you find yours eventually

I lost $60 last night or Friday whatever. It was my first paycheck and I lose the damn money. I'm still pissed off about this.

Few years ago I was having lunch in a local park, and rode my bicycle 3 blocks to a convenience store to buy a pop. Got the pop, rode back to the park to finish lunch....and just sort of instinctively reached down to check my wallet, and it was gone. Had over $800 in it.

The adrenaline was running through me like lightning bolts.

Rode back to the station, thinking I may have left the wallet on the counter, and ended up being scolded by the old middle eastern dude behind the register for being so foolish with my money. "What are you doing carrying such large amounts of money around?" he demanded.

He claimed that some other customer found it laying out by the driveway, and turned it in. All money accounted for.

I once found a wallet with $325. in it at a bus station. I took it to the person at the ticket area. They made an announcement but nobody came. They told me to come back at the end of the day and they'd let me keep it if nobody came looking for it. The person probably got on a bus and never knew where they left it.

Technology has helped this thread out. I don't have to worry about my wallet or keys anymore since AirTags came out. :)

That's strange, didn't the owner of the wallet have some ID in in so you could find the person. I always carried a note in my wallet with my name and phone # written on it.

I have to agree with the "old dude", carrying that amount of money around is plain foolish...unless you were on your way to pay your rent with cash?????

It was very strange. I still remember what it looked like, an old beaten weather-worn navy blue cloth wallet but no ID. Nothing but the cash.

Whenever I think of it, I always wonder if it was a second "emergency cash" wallet but not their regular wallet and somehow it fell out wherever they had stashed it.

That was back around 2009-2010, and I can't recall exactly what the deal was. I think half of it was expense money (gas, groceries, and what not.....and the other half I think I was in the process of buying a nicer bicycle.

LOL, I'm shopping for a used car right now (prices are horrible, so the shopping process has been extended, and slow) and am carrying $15,000 in cash, albeit in a zippered dedicated pocket (not in my wallet)

My #1 concern is what happens if I wake up one night and find the house on fire? Gotta grab my jacket.

or #2 what if I got in a serious car accident, needed to be hospitalized, and some good samaritan thought I was being a foolish old man for wanting to keep a seedy old windbreaker near me when it's 80 degrees outside.
