I was reading this one article about Ben Savage. In the article. "I had the biggest crush on him at first, and I think maybe he liked me back, but he didn’t know how to handle it,” says Danielle, 18.
What did she mean by the fact that Ben didn't know how to handle a crush on her? He was scared for some reason at the time or something? I also read on the Internet that Ben and Danielle went out during season 2 of Boy Meets World.

What do u think Danielle meant by the fact that Ben couldn't handle a crush on Danielle, and why do u think he couldn't handle a crush on her?

Michael Jacobs said on the commentary for the Season 1 DVD that Ben was very shy. In the episode "Cory's Alternative Friends" when Danielle had to kiss Ben, Ben held his lips pressed together tightly, he was afraid you could get a disease or something.

That's probably what it was, Ben was very shy, he just didn't know how to deal with his crush on Danielle cause of that shyness.

I think its best they did not date younger , both would have been slightly immature , and if anything happend between them , it could have caused friction on the show
