Especially Mr. Howl's face. Steve's Roadhouse 10-21-2004, 07:24 PM It's not a photograph. It's a computer mockup (painting). The picture on the first set looks like a photograph that's being touched up. ph1l 10-22-2004, 04:18 AM Crikey! I love it. I'm buying the set just for the shot of Ginger. She's never looked so good. :) Jack77 10-24-2004, 01:41 AM Originally posted by Steve's Roadhouse It's not a photograph. It's a computer mockup (painting). Actually Steve, It's from an original B&W Photo of the seven castaways taken on a raft in the lagoon from the second season that has just been colorized. ph1l 10-24-2004, 05:04 AM Jack77, Did you mean season 1 colourised because 2 and 3 were shot in colour. Munsters#1 10-24-2004, 12:37 PM Originally posted by ph1l Jack77, Did you mean season 1 colourised because 2 and 3 were shot in colour. What??? Are you talking about episodes or photographs? Jack77 10-24-2004, 02:47 PM The New Season 2 Cover is originally a Black & White photo from the second season. It is a photo of all SEVEN CASTAWAYS posing for a publicity shot in the lagoon. All Warner Bros. has simply done for the new DVD Cover was take that photo and colorize it! I was not talking about any episodes. Munsters#1 10-24-2004, 04:16 PM Originally posted by Jack77 I was not talking about any episodes. I know you weren't, I was talking to ph1l. But thanks for clarifying us on the photo.:) ph1l 10-25-2004, 03:13 AM You're right. I thought you were referring to the episodes not the photograph. Nice job of colouring anyway.;) Vicki L. 10-29-2004, 03:20 AM iT SAYS ON THE WEBSITE LINK THAT JANOS PROHASKA PLAYED THE LION. NO HE DIDN'T. JANOS PLAYED AN APE. SORRY ABOUT THE CAPITALS. ph1l 10-31-2004, 04:38 AM I think this is the photograph in question. On closer examination it's a pity they didn't spend a little more time with the original. It seems as well as cutting and pasteing, they've slightly altered the faces as well. Still any cover will do as long as the actual episodes aren't altered in any way. :) ph1l 10-31-2004, 04:45 AM . Jack1000 01-09-2005, 10:08 PM Guys, What is that white image in the picture? Jack The Keeper 02-01-2005, 04:32 AM Mist from the waterfall. ;) Nice effect, was not always on, usually during intro's only. Steve Carras 02-04-2005, 03:18 AM iT SAYS ON THE WEBSITE LINK THAT JANOS PROHASKA PLAYED THE LION. NO HE DIDN'T. JANOS PLAYED AN APE. SORRY ABOUT THE CAPITALS. You're right that, Vicki, and in fact there lies a famous tail-I mean, TALE--told of that lion. Sherwood Schwartz on the introduciton in the second season vilume and most books on the subject mention that Bob Denver made a mistake by RUNNING when the beast was inside, and that it wasn't -ready??-EVEN IN THE SCRIPT--it just happaned, and Bob scared the bejeeses outta that lion by runnung.Only the bed carrying the lion back when he LUINGED out at our little buddy daved him if anything. But Janos Prohaska did play the ape you mention (among others, such as the spider in the next to left one with Sterling Holobyte's namesake.)(THE PIEGON,ep.#96) |
