Joker85 10-20-2004, 04:27 PM I thought she looked familiar. I love "Mama's Girls", especially the dance number they do to the Choo Choo Song at the beginning. And who doesn't enjoy Thelma calling the Insurance Guy's mama. :D Penny Lane 10-25-2004, 04:05 PM Here is the only picture of Betty Bunch that I could find. She was attending some function in Las Vegas. I am sure this is the same person but of course she is a lot older!:D Penny Lane 10-25-2004, 04:08 PM Originally posted by VivianHarmon1934 Mama's Family: Mama's Girls Episode (http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/GuidePageServlet/showid-539/epid-99680) Betty Brunch's Character Page (Belle Scoggins) (http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/PersonDetail/personid-22925) She is credited on TV Tome (http://www.tvtome.com) for that episode as well. Interesting crossover. In the Grandma USA episode she is listed only as Contestant #1. :) Sterling Holobyte 10-25-2004, 04:38 PM I've always thought that in the Grandma USA episode that she was the only contestant who really looked like a grandma. (sorry Thelma/Vicki!) :) Penny Lane 10-25-2004, 09:04 PM I looked on both IMDB and Yahoo for pics but nothing else came up!:( Penny Lane 10-25-2004, 09:08 PM Originally posted by Sterling Holobyte I've always thought that in the Grandma USA episode that she was the only contestant who really looked like a grandma. (sorry Thelma/Vicki!) :) I was a grandmother at 41 and certainly didn't look it! I still don't look like one at 54 IMO;) My grandmother looked like an old lady at my age! So much for "the good old days" Penny Lane 10-26-2004, 04:34 PM Originally posted by VivianHarmon1934 Just wondering, Penny. That's all... LOL Oh I was just saying that grandma's don't necessarily look like the grandma's of yore! My Mom is 75 but she looks about 10 years younger. My grandma was an old lady at 55! My grandma was born in 1910 , my mom in 1928 and I was born in 1950. hairstyles and fashion have a lot to do with how old a person looks! I have a photo of my grandma holding me when I was a baby and she was only 40. My gosh, she looks at least 70! Wow, we really can get off the subject can't we?  PZelda 10-28-2004, 05:59 PM Originally posted by Penny Lane LOL Oh I was just saying that grandma's don't necessarily look like the grandma's of yore! Your grandma was awfully young when she had your mom, by the way. But that's not surprising, since that was the norm in the first half of the 20th century. My grandma that married my grandpa born in 1914...was born in 1923 and they wed when she was 17 going on 18. My grandma was already pregnant w/ her first child when they got married, so by the time she gave birth, she had already turned 18. That weirds me out today...because I'm 19, with no intentions of marrying and bearing children anytime soon! Penny Lane 10-28-2004, 07:14 PM Originally posted by PZelda Off-topic, but you're 35 years older than me and my grandpa is 4 years younger than your grandma - he was born in 1914. He turns 90 in just over a month from now.
