I don't know if this has been posted before, but what movies make you cry?

For Me:
John Q
A Walk to Remember
Love & Basketball (I don't know why but I ALWAYS cry at the end of it)

Lady Jane - if you've never seen it, see it. It really will break your heart.

Portrait of a Lady - I was crying for about twenty minutes after that movie ended.
The House of Mirth - I watched it cuz I knew I was going to meet the director, Terence Davies in London. I was bawling. Oh, and my DVD now reads "Best Wishes, Emily, Terence Davies." I love that thing!

The Fox and the Hound - I know, I'm a wuss.

And then there's the ones that make everyone cry:

-Love Story
-Little Women
-Stepmom

Little Nicky, but that's because it's so bad it makes me cry.

I might be exposing myself as a *****, but I'll admit I've gotten a little weepy with these movies:

Rocky (the original, without a number behind it): at the end when Rocky's calling out for Adrian

Popi (movie starring Alan Arkin): when Popi forces his sons into a rowboat in the ocean in hopes that they'll be rescued by a rich family, that particular scene always gets me started

Cooley High: when Preach finds Cochise after he's been beat up

LMAO, I watched that for the first time last night and totally cried...lol, I get close to crying often when i watch movies, but think I really did there.

Girl, Interrupted and The Iron Giant are the first that come to mind for movies that get me somewhat agitated. 21 Grams and The House of Sand and Fog were both pretty depressing, though I dont know if I cried.

I was very close to tears the first time I saw American History X, but dont know if it ever got me that depressed again.

John Q

To Kill A Mockingbird

Selena

La Bamba

The Buddy Holly Story

Moonlight Mile

I don't know why, but I don't cry when I watch Moonlight Mile because the plot of the film is sad. I mean, the film is sad, but that's not why I cry. I just love the courtroom scene in which Joe breaks down and ends up telling the truth. That film was the first film and I think the only film I have watched since, that I didn't know why the film made me cry.

I've only ever admitted to one person that tears have been brought to my eyes by a film (it was actually during Open Water- she felt silly for crying at a film). The film I'm talking about was The Green Mile

I've never cried during a movie. Is that weird? The closest I've ever come to crying was when Dr. Green died on ER.

It takes a heck of a lot to get me to cry during a movie or TV show. It depends on the person watching. Some people are more easily moved than others so I don't think of it as being weird.

Alright, I'll admit it.

I was bawling the first time I saw Armaggedon - and I really don't like Bruce Willis. I can't stand Leonardo DiCaprio, but The Man in the Iron Mask also got to me.

Oh, and I cried during Danielle Steel's The Ring, but come on, who didn't?

;)

Yes!! I challenge anybody to watch the end of Big Fish and not have tears in your eyes.

I am such a wuss for the tear-jerkers.

I just saw one of them today and even though I have it on video, I still watched it on TV. That movie is The Color Purple.

When Harry Met Sally--at the end when Harry is telling Sally how he feels about her at the New Years party

Close Encounters of the Third Kind--when Jillian get Barry back from the aliens and Roy gets to go up in the UFO.

Steel Magnolias--when Shelby dies

Tootsie--when Julie tells "Dorothy" that she really loves her, but she can't 'love' her.

It's A Wonderful Life--how can anybody watch the end and not be bawling?!! It's Christmas!!

Boogie Nights--um, oops, just kidding.

I didn't cry in that movie. I guess I just totally saw it a different way. Yeah he dies at the end, but it's not like he's gone. I was actually smiling at the end, because he moved on. Totally different take on it, I guess.

Whenever i watch Pearl Harbor,i cant help but cry my eyes out.My mascara was running in the cinema, and my eyes were stinging! That movie just makes me cry every time i watch it.

I also balled my eyes out when i watched Here on Earth when Jasper (Josh Hartnett) has tears in his eyes, and at the end-the look on his face starts the waterworks for me,and the song at the end of the movie, during the credits,is also really sad.

It really doesn't take much for me to cry in a movie.Other films i balled my eyes out in were Sweet November Romeo + Juliet Blow and of course,Titanic

I always cry in movies. But in the movie "Chasing Amy" (:o) I exploded with tears in the scene outside of the Hockey rink. I was watching with my parents and there like "Uh... are you okay?" it was pretty bad. I'll never live it down. Of course my mom tells all of her friends who will NEVER, EVER let me forget it.

Im surprised no-one siad "The Notebook". I didnt cry, but when i was in the theatre watching it, all the other girls were sobbing. "A League of Thier Own" can make that throat of mine lump every now and then, but I dont cry at movies, I get real sad, but I dont cry. "The Outsiders" is an awesome book (liked it better than the movie) but that movie\book is a "tear-jerker" as well.

I never cried during "The Outsiders", I never even got upset, the acting was just so bad, I laughed more than anything

Dancer in the Dark- never before have I felt like crying for so long during a movie. The whole last half hour, you just feel as if you'll be pushed over the edge by the next scene. Then, the final scene just left me motionless.
