Only movies I known him to appear in was, "Cotton Comes to Harlem" a movie with Pearl Bailey, I can't think of the name, and "Harlem Nights". It's like he got no movie roles during and after Sanford and Son.

It will called "Norman, Is That You?" made in 1975. mooseface 10-06-2004, 01:47 PM Originally posted by BravesFan2004 Yes, he did make a movie while he was doing Sanford and Son. I know that they have shown it on TV about 10 years ago but I haven't seen it since. I wonder if it's on DVD. jekouptown 10-07-2004, 04:12 PM he played a JUNK MAN in COTTON COMES TO HARLEM MichaelLutton 10-08-2004, 12:26 PM Redd Foxx was also in the movie.Ghost of a chance. where he got shot and played a ghost.that movie never seen anymore T-Greg 10-13-2004, 04:51 PM I bought a VHS-PAL copy from a guy in Britain and had it coverted to NTSC. Quality is OK. It was a 1987 TV movie which also starred Dick Van Dyke. He was also in Harlem Nights and he played a piano player in an early movie (1960) called "All the Fine Young Cannibals". He is uncredited. magellan333 10-13-2004, 11:56 PM I wish he had starred in one less movie...Harlem Knights was such a wasted effort (IMHO). All those stars given so little to work with! Just junk. |
