orange head, Sweet Dreams was the Eurythmics, not Annie Lennox solo.
Brian, In The Air Tonight was a Phil Collins solo single, not Genesis.
(yes, I'm being technical.)

Justin Timberlake could take some pointers from Phil, and even Beyonce. Since Justin thinks he's too hot to go back to N'Sync because he had one hit album.
Phil Collins really ****ed over Genesis by leaving. They got a new lead singer (Ray Wilson, the Gary Cherone of Genesis) and released Calling All Stations in 1997. WIth that album, they tried to return to their prog-rock routes, but the results were terrible.
I'm glad it didn't turn out to be their final recording. A few years later, the band got to record "The Carpet Crawlers '99," which, lead vocals-wise, was actually a duet between original lead singer Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins.
It's a fine production, and it's definitely a better way to end their career than Calling All Stations.
As for Collins solo, the only good album he released was Face Value. Everything else is disgusting.
