I really liked Mariah Carey's earlier albums like Emotions and Music Box, but during the late 90's her music began to take on a more hip hop feel and that didn't appeal to me. However, I'll take Mariah over Lopez any day of the week.

Choose between a singer who can't act and an actress who can't sing? :lol: Well, they are both hot urban birds. . . Mariah sings like a songbird. . .and J-Lo has that Latin vibe to her. . . I'd toss a coin!

When comparing singers like this, I tend to look at the singing, which means I pick Mariah her vocal range is amazing especially her upper register, Jennifer don't really have all of that
