The character-"Ned the Wino". That was good he brought back to show his respect to the Evans Family. I believe that was the last apperance of Ned on Good Times. Still don't know why the Grandfather wasn't brought back for that episode.

And the strange thing was the Grandfather appears 7 or 8 eps after the 2 part Death episode

..and he was shacking with Lena.

It didn't dawn on the writers to have the grandfather show up again until 7 or 8 eps later.:)
